Jackie Gleason.
Initially, I thought it was Jackie Gleason (hadn't seen the post by "anonymous" so I wasn't biased).
However, I'm not 100% certain.

I'll put my chips on Jackie Gleason, although I wasn't there when they filmed it. Anonymous seems to be pretty certain -- but it's easy to be confident behind the veil of anonymity.
Does anyone know if he hosted a variety show . . . or perhaps he was a guest that day?
It seems to me that the cool people used to run in the same circles "back in the day." That doesn't seem to be the case any more.
